This jacket is crafted from deep indigo upcycled cotton and transformed through bold, freeform appliqué using fragments of traditional Kalamkari prints. Designed with irregular hand-cut shapes arranged like a collage across the front, back, and sleeves, this piece is a celebration of intuitive design and reclaimed artistry.
The appliqué patches were sourced from leftover Kalamkari offcuts, each individually selected and stitched to create an abstract visual language. With a clean front zip closure and sharp tailoring, this jacket balances craft with contemporary edge.
